The 5th edition of Martin Lawrence's popular guide to the Firth of Clyde and west coast of Scotland, neighbouring the Crinan Canal, has been thoroughly updated. The text is fully revised, including a new survey by Jon Hallam and Randal Coe of Loch Tarbert, Cumhann Beag to the Top Pool which provides an exceptionally clear picture of the arrangement of the leading marks.

Martin Lawrence, who has spent many years sailing on the West Coast of Scotland, is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation. He is well-known as the author of The Yachtman's Pilots to the West Coast of Scotland and has contributed to Yachting Monthly and the yachting press in Scotland.
