Easily plan routes across an extended routenetwork of the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and the Baltic sea. You only need to enter the dimensions and speed of your boat once and you will be able to start planning. Specify your starting point and final destination and your route will automatically be planned for you. Taken into account will be the waterways, passage openings and opening times of bridges and locks.
By downloading GRIB files you will get the forecasts of wind and rain plotted on your map for the next seven days. With a connected GPS receiver you will get information for your current position, speed and course and the chart will follow your position accordingly.
While sailing, WinGPS will save your sailed route as well as a log. When back at home you can analyze the logs in detail and print them or send them by e-mail.

WinGPS navigation software is available for Windows and Android devices which makes it possible to navigate aboard with your laptop, onboard PC, smartphone and tablet. One WinGPS license can be used on two different devices. You are able to plot your routes at home on a dekstop PC with a large screen and transfer the data to your onboard device. Another advantage would be to install the software on a second onboard device as backup.
Weather forecasts are available for download every day as GRIB files with forecasts for the upcoming seven days, from the moment of download. During sailing, WinGPS will show your current position, speed and course. WinGPS will also keep a log of the route you sailed. The saved logs can be analyzed in detail and can be printed or send to your crew via e-mail.
With WinGPS 5 Pro and WinGPS 5 Voyager, information on currents and tides is included as well as the option to connect with onboard equipment such as AIS, wind meter, depth meter, autopilot, log and compass.
