Hidden Harbors of Southwest Scotland is a scenic tour of small and little-visited harbors on the beautiful Scottish coast and nearby islands, starting at Port Logan in the south and meandering north to Lerags on Loch Feochan in the Firth of Lorn.

Scotland's south-west coast is one of the most beautiful cruising areas in the world, combining dramatic landscapes with interesting history and sights. Many of its banks are lined with ancient castles and the beautiful historic homes of wealthy industrialists, reflecting its significance as an area of ??busy commerce. The more recent military developments, including a wartime torpedo base at Loch Long and the naval headquarters at Faslane on Gare Loch, also feature significantly. Small ports further south were formed by the trade in natural resources and the flow of passengers via Clyde Puffer boats to and from nearby cities such as Glasgow and beyond. Every hidden port, many of which are simple but attractive piers or ships built to support trade, has a story to tell.
