Do you want to send data between your onboard instruments and your laptop or PC? Then a multiplexer is ideal.

Connect all your onboard instruments to this small box, such as your autopilot, AIS, wind gauge, depth sounder, log, compass, and repeater. Using a LAN cable, connect the multiplexer to your onboard router. Then connect your laptop, onboard PC, tablet, or smartphone to the router via Wi-Fi. This way, you'll receive data from your onboard instruments on all your devices.

This way, you can use WinGPS to control your autopilot, and all the data from your onboard instruments is visible in WinGPS.

If you also have a SIM card for internet access in your router, you'll also receive internet access via the same Wi-Fi signal. This eliminates the need to switch between Wi-Fi channels, and you can receive both data from your onboard instruments and internet data via a single Wi-Fi signal.


The MiniPlex-3E is an NMEA 0831 multiplexer with a LAN connection. It has 4 NMEA input ports (1 of which is Seatalk) and 2 NMEA output ports.

The MiniPlex-3 Series NMEA Multiplexers comprises a range of advanced NMEA multiplexers that combine data from multiple navigation instruments.

The MiniPlex-3E is an advanced multiplexer that combines NMEA 0183 data from multiple sources into a single data stream.
The device has two NMEA 0183 outputs and an Ethernet port. Received NMEA 0183 messages can be routed individually to each of these outputs.

The Ethernet port is bidirectional, allowing it to send NMEA 0183 data to an Ethernet network while simultaneously receiving NMEA 0183 data to route to one or both NMEA 0183 outputs. This allows NMEA 0183 data to be distributed to multiple devices on the network.

Communication speeds up to 115200 baud are supported.

SeaTalk
Input 1 can be set to SeaTalk mode, allowing it to send and receive SeaTalk data. Received SeaTalk data is converted to NMEA 0183, while NMEA 0183 data from any input or Ethernet port can be selectively forwarded and converted to the SeaTalk port.

Each port of the MiniPlex-3 is galvanically isolated from the internal electronics. This ensures that ground loops can never occur when using a MiniPlex-3 multiplexer. This ensures trouble-free connection to all types of NMEA 0183 ports.
